When it comes to collecting and using social media data to market a business, Facebook is king. The social network is increasingly learning about the users and what makes them respond to marketing messages and the development of their advertising products in the theater.
In order to provide more information to marketers, Facebook has created pixels that allow marketers to measure the impact of their advertising and understand how Facebook users interact with Web sites.
Installing Facebook Pixel is a relatively straightforward process in which a small code is added to your website. The process is not that scary, but not everyone is familiar with the code (especially when playing with your website).
If your site is based on WordPress, you’re in luck: Facebook and WordPress have an integration that lets you install the Facebook pixel in just a few steps.
Installing Facebook Pixel on your WordPress site has obvious advantages:
- Reach the Right People – Find new prospects and customers on Facebook (and Instagram) with remarketing and optimize your ads for those who are most interested in your message.
- Expand Your Audience – Prospect for new customers by creating a similar audience that matches the behavior of visitors to your site to the next 1% of Facebook users in a geographic area.
- Trigger Actions You Care About – Optimize conversion of ads, landing pages, or other important activities for your business.
- More Data – Get a deep understanding of your Facebook Community and how they’re interacting with your website.
