In an effort to build customer loyalty, Instagram announced that users can now include GIF stickers in their posts in the Stories section of the app.
As of today, users can add expressive GIF stickers to any photo or video in their history using a GIPHY-compatible feature.
To use this new feature, a user can press to add a sticker to a photo or video in the articles, in the usual way. Now there will be a new GIF option that includes a library full of mobile stickers with GIPHY. From spinning letters that transform hearts into dancing cats and pizzas into outer space, these animated stickers make any photo or video fun, interesting or creative.

The GIF stickers will be available as part of Instagram Version 29 on iOS and Android, while the changes in the story will be available in the coming weeks.
