Google’s Gary Illyes told PubCon that they could generate 98% or more of the websites they follow. He added that rendering takes longer than normal crawling and indexing. He said it can take several weeks for a page to be displayed once it’s been explored.
I do not think it’s new, but I’d like to point out that it’s not necessary to think that Google is slow to crawl, index, and categorize content. Google always does it fast, but it takes a little longer to complete the page after all these steps.
I think Gary talked about it, because after talking a bit about the new dynamic rendering material they published, he suggested that those who need faster rendering analyze it.
